Jensen Environmental was retained by Midlothian School District #143 to perform asbestos project management and air quality monitoring services for abatement operations that occurred at Central Park School in Midlothian, Illinois.

 

The scope of work consisted of the wet gross removal of 1,000 square feet of asbestos containing floor tile and mastic and the non-friable removal of caulking and transite. Removal procedures were performed under negative air conditions and followed all U.S. EPA and IDPH Rules and Regulations. Air quality monitoring occured during all phases.

 

Final clearance air monitoring samples were well below the regulatory requirements. All documents was compiled in a report and submitted to the client and IDPH.
